The Institution Venutai Chavan Pratishthan was established in 1989 for Social, Cultural & educational welfare of Ambajogai & the surrounding area. This institution opened Arts & Commerce Mahila Mahavidyalaya in this city on 7th August 1990 in a very adverse condition to provide higher education & bring about overall personal development of the female students from rural area. This city is also known everywhere in our state as a Seat of Learning and also having great educational,cultural traditional heritage.We can’t forget the contribution given by the great personalities like pujya Swami Ramananda Teerth & Pujya Babasaheb Paranjape for freedom struggle of Hyedrabad.
